#1 Best Turkey Chili Recipe

#1 Best Turkey Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
– Ground Turkey (3 lb.)
– Olive Oil (1/4 cup)
– Garlic (1 clove, crushed)
– Onions (1 cup, chopped)
– Green Peppers (1 cup, chopped)
– Red Kidney Beans (2-3 cans)
– Crushed Tomatoes (one, 28 oz. can)
– Tomato Paste (6 oz can)
– Brown Rice (1-3 cups)
– Chili Powder (2 Tbsp)
– Sugar (1 Tbsp)
– Sea Salt (3 Tsp)
– Pepper (1/4 Tsp)
– Paprika (1/4 Tsp)
– Bay Leaves (2 leaves)
– Cumin (1 Tsp)
– Dried Basil (1 Tsp)
– Cayenne Pepper (1 Tsp)
– Fresh Parsley (optional)
 
Directions:
1. Sauteé onion, green pepper, and garlic in a pan for 3-5 minutes.
2. Add ground turkey and brown, then drain excess fat.
3. Add all remaining (except kidney beans and brown rice).
4. In a separate pot, cook the brown rice.
5. Simmer and stir for 30 minutes.
6. Add beans, gently heat and serve with brown rice.
7. Top with low-fat shredded cheese & garnish with fresh parsley (optional).
