If you are not a fan of cold water, we get it. Neither are we. But we invite you to come down to see Steve and the rest of the Transfitnation Team jump in.

This amazing local charity works to provide financial and emotional support to children & families within our Smithtown community by bridging family, friends, neighbors & local businesses to act as ONE in times of crisis.

About Smithtown Children’s Foundation:

The Smithtown Children’s Foundation is a NY State not for profit, 501c3, public charity, 170b, providing financial and emotional support to families residing within the Smithtown School District. This Foundation is independent of the Smithtown School District or any other organization having similar objectives.

On the organization’s website, they describe the impact they have on our community: “We assist families in crisis in many way. We pay medical bills, overdue household bills, and buy medical equipment that is not covered by insurance. We evaluate each application to find the best way to help. We manage college scholarships for graduating seniors from both of our high schools, many in memory of loved ones lost. We fund an annual Teacher’s Grant for a worthy classroom project that cannot be funded in any other way. We have become a resource for our community’s most needy as we work closely with our school district’s social workers, providing backpacks/school supplies, as well as Thanksgiving gift cards and holiday gifts.”
