Meet Our Personal Trainer – Ariana Nunez

Ariana Nunez is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer at Transfitnation. She has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and is also a Certified Yoga Instructor. Ariana is a former dancer and competitive cheerleader, and she enjoys cycling, weightlifting, yoga, hiking and skiing in her free time. Ariana strives to help her clients feel confident and capable – both inside the gym and throughout their daily lives.

Meet Our Personal Trainer – Ariana Nunez

Ariana is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and is also a Certified Yoga Instructor.

During college, Ariana discovered her passion for fitness and wellness while she was struggling with her own mental health. Ariana joined track and cross country, started weight-lifting, and practiced yoga. Movement became a form of medicine, which inspired her background in Psychology and Counseling. She was also inspired to begin teaching yoga classes at studios across Long Island.

As a personal trainer, Ariana seeks to use her educational background to empower clients to create and reach their SMART goals. While exercise increases an individual’s physical well-being, it also has a profound impact on overall mental and emotional health. Ariana’s goal is to design mindful training programs that meet each individual client’s needs.

In her early life, Ariana was a dancer and competitive cheerleader. She found a lot of joy through various forms of exercise. To this day, she enjoys activities such as cycling, weightlifting, yoga, hiking and skiing. The other half of the time, you can find her reading on her Kindle or doing something creative, like crochetting. A fun fact about Ariana is that she is only 4’9” tall – but don’t underestimate her ability to help you meet your fitness goals.

Austin Hochhausl is a Certified Personal Trainer (ISSA) with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a concentration in Exercise Science.
